" From California comes word from Gloria and Ken Hall:
"We were a little busy with smoke in our eyes, 110 temperature and that virus fella! Please send any and all messages. We want to know about all of you and about Fbg. and our church. We miss you dearly!!!We are finally able to see daylight at the other end of a tunnel that has seemed to have no light. It is not you nor us, nor those who wonder why or what means were placed upon us for our world to go from what we thought was ok but has opened our eyes and ears to look about and see another something that says things weren’t quite right. But we are surviving even with Gloria’s two bouts with pneumonia and me with a pacemaker. Good Doctors fixed both. That is great. The fires left our State in bad shape for weeks. Only now can we breathe with some comfort and assurance. The virus seems to be peaking. Let’s hold onto one another. Right Now that’s is the best advice we can say grace over and over. Loving hands are reaching out to all of you For your everlasting love and friendship now and forever. God Bless!! We are ok!"
** Contact Catherine Davis if you want Ken's email address.
* Memorial Presbyterian Church is joyfully holding in person worship services. We are following coronavirus guidelines. Visitors are welcome! Naturally, our plans continue to remain fluid to accommodate any changes in the local Covid-19 environment. Please join us if you are able and comfortable in doing so.
If you would like for the pastor to bring Communion to you at home, please contact the church office and make arrangements. * If you are willing and feel a call to serve the church, please let the pastor or someone on the Session know. It is often hard to know whether to ask a member or guess that they may or may not be ready. There are all kinds of tasks with which members can help.
* Choir rehearsals begin at 5:30 PM. Newcomers are welcome. (CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
