At the recent Congregational Meeting reports were given and good news of the financial soundness of the church was heard with appreciation and prayerful thanks.

There are all kinds of tasks with which members can help. * INTERESTING: Judy Oehler and Dan McGooley will join Myra Klinksiek and others as part of a 300+ piece Longhorn Alumni Band that will be the host band at the 75th Anniversary Celebration of D-Day in Normandy, France. They will have the honor of playing Hail to the Chief for the President of the United States and all national anthems for France, United States, United Kingdom and Canada. They will also perform the Longest Day, Amazing Grace and Hymn to the Fallen during the ceremony. While in France, they will perform at the American Cemetery at Brittany and the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. They will march in the D-Day Memorial Parade through the city of St. Mere Eglise. They will perform at the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris before returning home. Patsy and James Hejl were founders of the UT alumni band. *
